Programme One companies focus on 3 Key Areas:

Attraction
Unfortunately, the opportunity of joining the world of recruitment is something that is not showcased enough within the Black community. There’s no doubt that the talent is out there, however they are not aware of what the world of recruitment has to offer them.
The Programme One companies are encouraged to broaden their talent attraction methods by tapping into networks and local organisations that traditionally have been overlooked.

Retention
Creating a safe space for all Black professionals is the key to retaining top talent. They need to know they can be the best versions of themselves without worrying about being misunderstood or stereotyped incorrectly.
A mentoring scheme is provided to offer Black professionals a safe environment where they gain extra support to help navigate the early stages of their recruitment careers.
We also host networking events to allow Black recruiters to connect and share their experiences with other like-minded professionals in the industry.

Progression
We want to support all Black recruiters to climb up the corporate ladder within their organisation. Every company should strive to promote ‘equality of opportunity’ at senior leadership level and above.
